Architecture & Urban Research Institute (AURI) is a government-funded research institute established with the goal of contributing to the improvement of public welfare and sustainable development of the country and local communities by conducting comprehensive research on architecture and urban space.

- 01 Comprehensive research and R&D on the creation, use and design of architecture and urban spaces
- 02 Research on policies and systems for the improvement of architecture and urban space
- 03 Research on the improvement of value of place and spatial culture
- 04 Support for plans and projects related to buildings and spatial environments of national and local governments
- 05 Building and operating information systems related to buildings and spatial environments as well as fostering and supporting related industries
- 06 Joint research with domestic and overseas related organizations and research services for national, and local governments, public institutions and private organizations
