Hanok Forum, the service of National Hanok Center in AURI(Architecture & Urban Research Institute) since 2011, is a place for reaching consensus to promote social interest about Hanok of professionals and people who are interested in Hanok and to develop the policy agenda for Hanok revitalization.
 "Hanok Forum 2012" will be placed 4 times this year with the main topic of "Hanok as living space, its value and prospect." To revitalize and popularize Hanok, it should be preceded to find Hanok neither as a stuffed Hanok nor as a looking architecture, but as the "Living Space".
 In "Hanok Forum 2012", Korean housing culture and the real life at Hanok will be investigated and further the future image of Hanok for the moderns will be drawn. The Forum will focuses on discussions about the possibilities of Hanok as the urban housing, technical options to realize the future Hanok, and the implementation of the legal system.
