2nd Public Architecture Design Forum

The key-word of AURi’s 2nd Public Architecture Design Forum is ‘School Facility’, after the 1st Public Architecture Design Forum which was held in 12^th September 2007 with the topic of “Public Architecture, What is the problem now?”. Researchers, professors, practical business men, government officers discussed together on the actual status, problems and improvement methods of environment and building facilities in elementary, middle and high schools.

ACCT (Presidential Committee on Architectural Culture & Construction Technology) and AURi (Architecture & Urban Research Institute) have held Public Architecture Design Forum in which diverse social groups collected opinions for development of architectural culture in Korea and had chances together to consider of future public architecture experimentally. As the 1st step, we diagnosed the actual state of public architecture in Korea with the topic of “Public Architecture, What is the problem now?”.
