The purpose of this study was to propose alternatives to the scope of designation, custodians, and name, which were controversial in the designation of Sorokdo as Cultural Heritage. The spatial scope of the study is Sorokdo Island, and the legal system related to cultural heritage, which is scheduled to be implemented in the second half of 2024, is the scope of the review. Through literature research, field trips, interviews and expert advice, we wanted to comprehensively review the characteristics of each alternative and propose a road map suitable for the situation in Sorokdo.
